General Guild meetings are open to the public and focus on an artist presentation or demonstration. The primary purpose of the meetings is to enrich our members’ and the public’s appreciation and knowledge of ceramics. The Guild meets monthly. See “Upcoming Events” for dates and times. We invite you to stop by the Ventura Pottery Gallery during the Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival, Saturday, Sept. 11 and Sunday, Sept. 12 from 11–6 each day. Over 30 ceramic artists will be featured in a special outdoor exhibit of just mugs. Throwing and hand-building demonstrations will take place all weekend outside the gallery. Step inside to see a Gallery bursting with functional and sculptural ceramics.
